RIP Van, thinking about all those hot Summer days & nights we spent together in Newton Ga, especially the ones playing bloody knuckles with Darren. As we grew up our lives went in separate directions but I thought of you often, always getting tickle when I remembered all the trouble we got into enjoying life just like it should have been without a care in the world. Gone too soon, your cousin, Sand.

Van, my sweet sister, although I will miss you immensely, I find solace in the fact that we were able to spend your last days together. Our last conversations reassured me that your life was filled with love and joy. I understand that God makes no mistakes and I know that I will have the chance to meet with you again.
Michael, I want to thank you for the many years you spent caring and loving my sister & for staying by her side until the end. I am praying that your wonderful memories of her will bring you comfort during this difficult time. I will be thinking of you and praying for you everyday.
